Just a reminder for everyone ...
New members of this forum will not be able to use the 'conversations' (messages) feature other than to contact Aussiefrogs admin and moderators. This is intended to reduce spam and scam messages.
If anyone wishes to respond to a car advert and cannot do so, you would either need the new member to have publicly posted contact info (not very desirable) or, preferably, ask a moderator to help you make contact. Or use the 'Report' button on the relevant post, which will get the attention of the site admin / moderators.
Note that it is not possible for others to reply to your cars for sale / wanted posts.
With the current (2024) forum software, you are generally not able to reply to your own ad but can edit it. If you want your ad removed or need help with editing it you can use the 'Report' button. If you want to 'Bump' your ad you can either 1) create a new ad and quote a link to the original ad, or 2) ask a moderator to 'bump' the original ad via the 'Report' button.
Any request for assistance with ads or making contact that simply look wrong or from anyone claiming to be a marine biologist working on a remote oil rig and so on will very likely be ignored!
