Hi , I have inherited a quantity of Total Ineo C3 5w40 which I have used in the past for my C6 but was wondering what people think of also using in my C4 1.6 HDi . I reckon it would be ok, especially as I do changes every 5000 to 7000 ks but wondered what you folk think.

5W-30 C2 was recommended for the 1.6 HDI. I'll bet that's what you have, so go for it.

sounds like the C3 is a much better oil. bugger a likely unmeasurable difference in fuel economy ....

If it was Quartz Ineo specially for a C6, it is C2. They now make a C3 5W-40. This won't be a problem in a C4.
