Trip meter

Hi, the trip meter in my Clio 3, 2011 is not showing any numbers (please see image, arrow). There is light but no readings inside. Can any one help solving this proble. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. There are no readings on the trip meter and I cannot see anything to change the settings.

Seems you need to hold the lower nav button for 5 secs to get the system to do a change or reset.
Upper does scroll through messages

The problem is there are no readings visible in the screen, if you look at the image I attached you see nothing. Before those readings used to come and disappear, now I can not see anything.

Would seem the temp solution is to give the dash above it a good whack...

If that works as a temp fix see below.

The trip metre screen connection to the main circuit board is possibly the issue, could be solder joints gone dry or a ribbon connection needing cleaning at fingers (or replacing), corrosion in there somewhere, dissimilar metals giving gremlins.

Clio 197 trip computer screen broken

Trip computer screen isnt working properly. Sometimes is fine, other times extremely faint and faded and almost impossible to read. Any idea what the problem is? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
